NeuHouse Farms is an accomplished grower located in the San Joaquín Valley that is internationally recognized for its bare root roses. Along with our roses, we own and operate pistachios & almond orchards throughout the valley. In addition, NeuHouse Farms grows an assortment of row crops such as carrots, beans, wheat, and pima cotton.
We strive to provide our customers with unparalleled sustainable products by utilizing next- generation farming practices and technology. While constantly innovating to grow a superior product, we take great pride in our family values which have stood for over four generations.

Dan Waterhouse
Dan joined Lester Neufeld and Son, a four-generation family farming partnership in 1992, however he soon became a partner in the operation in 1995. Dan is a founding partner in NeuHouse farms with the primary emphasis of growing and selling bare root roses. Dan manages and oversees all aspects of all operations as well as represents keen interest in water policy, legislative, and regulatory advocacy through his many board positions.
Jim Neufeld
Original founding partner of Lester Neufeld and Son and NeuHouse Farms. The only son of Lester, Jim started farming with his dad after college in 1965. He has worked and developed this farm over the past 60 years and continues to be an active partner. Today he oversees federal and state regulations along with all reporting requirements. Jim uses his engineering degree to create innovative solutions as our special projects manager.
Nancy Neufeld
One of the founding partners of NeuHouse Farms and partner in Lester Neufeld and Son, Nancy quickly stepped under and then into Frank Waterhouse’s position as Rose Program & Planting Director. She also oversees all R&D in roses, as well as woody perennials and shrubs. She finds it an amazing job everyday.
Cheri Hudson
Cheri is our Chief Financial Officer. She has been an essential part of the daily procedures of the farm since 1995. Detailed, reliable, and a wealth of information is what comes to mind when she is assisting you. She utilizes her accounting and business degrees to realize financial and organizational solutions.
Rogelio Hernandez
Working for Lester Neufeld and Son for over 30 years, Roy is one of the most valuable team members on the farm as head grower. He manages over 3,000 acres of crops for Lester Neufeld and Son. Implementation and scheduling is how Roy executes his job and emerges as one of the strongest leaders. It is a challenge for the rest of the team to keep up with him. He never turns a challenge away.
Manuel Ramirez
Manuel has worked and managed the rose crop at NeuHouse Farms, since 2010. His experience comes from the budding side of horticulture, and he has built on that to become an fundamental part of NeuHouse and its roses. Today, Manuel manages over 6 million plants.
1942 - 2009
Frank Waterhouse, was the driving force in forming a new partnership under Lester Neufeld and Son named NeuHouse Farms in 2004. His 20 years of experience working for Armstrong Roses, Jackson and Perkins, J and M, and Bickman Farms made him the perfect partner to delve into the rose industry. Although he has since passed his presence is ever felt in NeuHouse Farms to this day.
